Assignment Overview
You will call the assigned apartment complex to express interest in renting a unit and schedule an appointment for your assigned shop date. You will visit the property on your scheduled date and time to take a tour, and evaluate the location appearance and the leasing associate’s knowledge. You will monitor for follow-up for 24 hours after.

When selecting a shop date, please keep in mind:

• You must call within 24 hours of being assigned to this shop (M-F, 9am-5pm, and at least 1 day in advance of shop date) AND you must fill out the phone call portion of your survey immediately upon completing that step of the shop, so that BestMark can track your shop progress. Select a shop date that will allow you to follow this timing requirement!
• In other words – you will need to call either the same day you are assigned to this shop or the morning of the next business day, and then fill out the call section of your survey immediately after that.
• Business hours may vary by location; look up property’s hours online before calling.
• If you select a Monday shop date, you MUST call on the preceding Friday before 5pm. If it is currently Saturday or Sunday and you want to sign up for this shop, do not select a Monday shop date, please select Tuesday or later so that you will be able to make the phone call on Monday.
• If after being assigned this shop you discover the property is not open on the day you would need to call, contact BestMark to reschedule.

To be eligible for this shop, you or your immediate family members cannot currently nor have ever worked for or lived at any Covenant Capital property.
