Assignment Overview

Part 1: You will visit the money center at your assigned Walmart location and complete a $10 money transfer using MoneyGram. You will walk around the store or wait in your vehicle for 10-20 minutes, then return to the money center to present a complaint scenario. You will be reimbursed for the transfer. The goal is to evaluate the customer service received. Photos of the money transfer desk and fraud warning signage in that area are required, and you will need to provide your transaction receipt.

Part 2: You will locate the gift card display and select 3 Walmart-branded gift cards totaling $1,000 to scan at self-checkout. You will evaluate if you receive a prompt on the screen. You will cancel the transaction after receiving the prompt. You will not actually purchase any gift cards. Photos of the gift card display area, the specific selected gift cards, and the screen prompt are required.

You MUST use the assigned money transfer service (MoneyGram) and you MUST select gift cards within the assigned category (Walmart-branded) to scan. The instructions link below includes more details about your assigned money transfer service and example photos of valid gift cards. If you see any discrepancies or have questions, contact your scheduler immediately and before attempting to complete this shop.
